He was telling me the differences in the word "sweet".
Jake: (his hands and arms are moving the entire time he is talking) Mom....the sweet like a piece of candy is just "sweet", but sweet like "really cool" is "sweeeeeet". You say it longer.
Me: Thanks Jake. That is really great to know.

Thank goodness that Jake is around to help you be a cool--I mean, "sweeeeeet"--teacher. Otherwise, you would just have to settle for being dorky like all the other Jr High teachers :)
