Thankful Tuesday!!!!
1. We made it through last week. Hard, hard week. Connor Deal passing away, Chris going to the funeral in Amarillo, Jake having a major allergic reaction, Isaac getting strep, Dr. David having a really bad accident and having surgery. I am ready for March!
2. Isaac has let me hold him and rock the last 2 nights.
3. Happy Hour at Sonic! My new favorite thing. Jake gets an apple juice slush and Isaac gets a orange slush or a vanilla milkshake. Today, Isaac got a milkshake and said "Jake, I sure wish you could have a milkshake. Sorry you are allergic". What a good brother he is!
4. God has blessed Chris with safe journey's this week. He has been to Amarillo and Nashville in less than a week.
5. I am going to bed as soon as I finish this. It is 8:26pm right now. Need to type fast!
6. The Deal's have been an inspiration and I am hugging on my boys a little harder and thanking the Lord for them more often!
7. Facebook. I am addicted and I don't even care. Love it!
8. Jake got his Reading Response Journal today at school. He has been so excited to get it and he couldn't wait to get home and do his homework.
9. I bought $3.99 Disney t-shirts online for our trip! I bought Chris a Grumpy one!
10. Teresa! My new cleaning lady. She is my new favorite person! I don't think my house has ever been this clean!

Prayers
Instead of doing Thankful Tuesday, I think I am going to do Prayer Request Monday. I have a heavy heart tonight, full of mixed emotions. This is my plea to God.
1. Connor Deal. Please heal this special child. Lord....healing, comfort, safety, protection.

2. Nan and Ron Deal. How do you deal with this as a parent? How do you function? Lord...comfort, peace, rest, wisdom.
3. My good friend Lisa Smith is having her third baby tomorrow morning. She will then go straight into testing for her brain tumor. Lord....safety, healing, wisdom, guidance.
4. Jace Asher is a Givens! Our good friends, Michael and Ashleigh, adopted their 2nd son yesterday! Blessings! Praise God that this family was put together! Thank you Lord for letting everything work out! Lord....Praise, All Powerful, All Knowing, blessing, health.
5. Thank you Lord Jesus for Jake and Isaac. My two precious, healthy, fantastic boys. I don't deserve them. Thank you for letting me take care of them on this earth for you Lord. Lord....health, safety, happiness, joy, Sing over them, hedge of protection, blessing, thankful.

Valentine's Day!
Well...Valentine's day after eye surgery. Not very exciting!
I had my 2nd retina surgery on Thursday. Things went really well and the doctors are hopeful that my vision will return to normal. So far, it is still really blurry, but they say that it may take a few weeks for my body/eyes to adjust. The surgery gave me a pretty good black eye. That should be fun to explain at school on Monday! I have spent the last 2 days laying on the couch watching HGTV and letting my mom, dad, and Chris take care of everything. Not so bad!
Our big Valentine's Date consisted of Dad going to get Ribs from Demo's and Chris taking me to Sonic for a Hot Fudge Sundae. Didn't think I would go out in public with my black eye and eye patch quite yet!
Can't complain though! Spent Valentine's day with the people I love the most!

Thankful Tuesday
Haven't done this in awhile. Thought it was about time!
1. ELECTRICITY!!!!!!
2. CWL!!!!!!
3. Good friends to go through Winter Blast '09 with!
4. Popcorn. What a great snack!
5. In 7 weeks we will be in DISNEY world!
6. Curl Shaping Spray Gel. Wow. Great stuff.
7. That my husband traded cars with me yesterday to go and get an oil change in the van. What a guy!
8. The number 2 Cheeseburger meal at McDonald's.
9. Chocolate creamer. It makes my mornings so happy. :)
10. Next Thursday they are taking this crazy oil bubble out of my eye. Hopefully, I will be able to see again!!!
